The Key to Indonesia's Logistics Business to Be in the Top 30 of the World in 2024
Chairman of the Indonesian Logistics and Forwarders Association, Yukki Nugrahawan, said that the logistics business in Indonesia could be in the top 30 of the world's logistics by 2024. If logistics entrepreneurs provide added value with new innovations.
"In my opinion, in 2024 Indonesia can enter the top 3 of ASEAN. If we are in the top 3 of ASEAN then we will be in the top 30 of the world. Our importance in the world of logistics provides added value. The added value is the key word," said Yukki in APLOG LOGISTICS FORUM, Wednesday (3/2).
According to him, it is very important for the logistics sector to provide added value, with new innovations. So that in the end, Indonesian logistics has a competitive or competitive value in dealing with dynamic situations and conditions like now.
Yukki said collaboration was another keyword so that Indonesian logistics would develop better. For example, collaborating with e-commerce to keep businesses moving.
"Collaboration is the key word for the future, this is not just e-commerce, indeed online trade has now reached 15 percent (growth), that's how we can seize this opportunity, by doing big collaborations," he explained.
In addition, Yukki reminded logistics entrepreneurs to pay attention to economic development. Because logistics is influenced by two things, first, consumption and trade; second, it is influenced by the investment side.
"We can see that logistics friends can put a strategy rather than a logistics company to provide added value and efficiency to customers and be more on target," he said.
